Feeling Sublime

As you know I’ve only recently introduced this blog and already I’ve met so many inspiring folks on my journey. Starting this biz has reaffirmed my belief that people are by nature kind. Combine that with the sweet smell of Spring coming and I’m feeling sublime. Pretty much exactly like this bouquet by Nico Designs shot by Susan Dean Photography featured on Santa Barbara Weddings.

Here’s a few of the week’s highlights to get you feeling sublime too….

I took in a gorgeous Spring day at The Crane Estate where I met some wonderful industry folks. Looking forward to chatting more with Sarah Bastille Photography, Person+Killian Photography and Celebration Gourmet Catering. The day inspired this mini mood board

I was tempted by Plush Palate to trade in my signature Lancome Absolute Rouge lipstick for a pinker shade. Afterall spring is about new beginnings right?

This is Glamorous reminded me to order salt caramel for Moo’s Mother’s Day. They’re her favorite.

Apartment 34 helped me solve my Derby shoe dilemma. Thanks to her they will be blue. They will not be the world’s most expensive shoes which thanks to New Brahmin I now know run a mere £140,000. Who knew Louboutin’s were such a deal?

Life on a Balcony informed me that my sunflowers had to be planted in a 12″ x 12″ pot. Each. This may or may not be the reason mine weren’t so sunny last year. Better luck this go around!

I started my first spring cleaning project. A bedroom undo inspired by our honeymoon in Mnemba, a small island off the coast of Tanzania (5 years ago!). I’ve already bought white sheets, a vintage map of Africa and ONE gorgeous Turkish throw pillow. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.

I found the perfect way to organize an apartment sized Easter Egg hunt courtesy of A Subtle Revelry. Perfect game for the kiddies to play while you sip a glass of Floral Punch. After you’ve all enjoyed your Easter feast of Spring Pea Soup, Bulgar Pilaf, Crab Cakes and Grilled Leg of Lamb.

Here’s too a sublime weekend for you all!
